The venue 2009: Vienna |
The Interpädagogica is on tour as a ‘road show’ educational fair. Every year the show is based at one of four venues: Vienna, Linz, Salzburg and Graz. This enables the show to serve the whole of Austria and makes it much easier for teachers to gain a regular overview of all the latest ideas, findings and products in circulation. This year the Interpädagogica is being hosted by Messe Wien in Vienna enabling teachers from the eastern half of Austria to benefit from the short travelling times.
In the education sector the regions of Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland offer large numbers of potential customers: |

- Over 48,000 teachers, educators and facilitators in schools
- Over 11,000 teachers in kinder gardens and crèches

Expert speakers complete the benefits
An important factor in the success of a visit to the Interpädagogica is the presence of a comprehensive and informative programme of educational courses – one which will again be setting new standards in 2009! Those attending particularly value die the fact the issues are completely up-to-date and practical solutions are suggested for everyday pedagogical challenges! Attendance at the Interpädagogica and participation in seminars, talks and workshops is officially recognised by the ministry of education (bm:ukk) as participation in an educational event. |

| >> Focal issues planned for the Interpädagogica 2009 |
Health and sport
Sport and health education are things that need to be impressed on children as early as possible and a central pillar of early education. The Interpädagogica unites a wide range of issues such as the encouragement of healthy living habits, nutrition, dealing with stress, violence and how to avoid addictions; as well as how to encourage physical exercise, and features sports facilities, fitness, gymnastics and games equipment.
Music and theatre
For the first time the Interpädagogica will be devoting a separate section to music and the performing arts. This involves active musical involvement and a broad range of musical instruments and musical literature. Performance studies also provide important inspiration for the development of creativity and social learning.
Parents and children
How can we help parents to educate their children? What is the best way to encourage the individual talents our children possess? Parents come in search of help on how to educate their children.
Early learning, toddlers, infants
Playgroups, kindergartens, child-minding, pre-school groups and play schools. MiniWorld is all about early learning and early support, be it in psychomotorics, Montessori techniques or infant health training.
Creativity and innovation
There are many ways of fostering creativity. Our society has an ever growing demand for innovative and creative solutions to personal, occupational and societal challenges.
Energy and the environment
Thinking and acting with a view to tomorrow! Experts give advice on sources of energy, how to use them and how to save them; and everything you need to know about environmental protection and planning buildings to use resources most effectively. |
